      Verdict

      A tight handicap on paper but HONIMIERE won with a bit in hand over course and distance last time and is taken to follow up, while Sanctuary and Amazing Blue Sky are also very much respected. Honimiere has now taken two of her last three races over nine and 10 furlongs and acts well on a sound surface. A 6lb rise looked unlikely to prevent her from adding to that tally based on how she came home up the hill here last time and so we will side with her. Sanctuary is on an upward curve after just three runs and scored at Haydock last time in maiden company. This trip is ideal and a mark of 78 looks reasonable for this handicap bow so he can go well. Amazing Blue Sky was going nowhere except down in the weights until taking back-to-back Doncaster races over this distance, and he has now gone back up 12lbs as a result. Even so, he might just be in the form of his life and is not dimissed. Gaily Noble and Union Island both look likely to get competitive but in a very tricky handicap Honimiere is just preferred.
