In depth

Verdict

BASEM, a full-brother to the top-class Farrh, is still in the Derby and will need to win convincingly to justify that entry but he did extremely well to land the Wood Ditton at Newmarket from a less than promising position and this should prove no problem. Skaters Waltz has been making steady progress and stayed on very strongly to score over 7f at Newbury so this trip should prove ideal. Crowdmania completed a hat-trick on Polytrack earlier this year and has been running well on Turf especially on his latest start at Ascot where he led for a long way. Pool House also has a hat-trick of Polytrack victories to his credit and has continued to perform well after being raised in class so he's a threat but Surety will need to find some improvement to get involved.
