    Verdict

Red Stargazer made a good impression on his debut at Ayr but was nowhere near that form in a follow-up attempt at Haydock. That can't have been his true form and better is expected. Illuminating Dream won a maiden here in August and was optimistically sent to Dubai where she was beaten a long way in both starts. Lincoln landed an Ayr maiden in September and has performed with credit on his last couple of starts while Belayer scored over 5f on his debut here before taking on much better company in nurseries. Paul Hanagan was on board when MUTEELA made a winning debut at Lingfield in October and this well-connected filly is likely to have made good progress over the winter and looks well treated. Upholland appeared to need the trip when scoring over 1m1f at Wolverhampton and hasn't run up to that form subsequently.
