    Verdict

This looks the weaker of the two divisions but the booking of Simon Walker for Sir Mark Prescott's lightly-raced three-year-old Wunderkind catches the eye as the filly takes a further step up in trip. Graceful Act won one of these at Ripon last time when Zainda was fourth but Edas is getting a bit long in the tooth and Botanist doesn't look like winning again anytime soon. BROCKFIELD has never won here but has been placed on numerous occasions. He's 12lb lower than for his last win two years ago and, with a leading amateur booked, might be the one to beat today.
