Verdict

San Silvestro, Prince Noel and Always Brave are shortlisted in the nightcap and the vote is given to Prince Noel. The selection was only narrowly beaten at Hamilton on Friday night and a reproduction of that effort should be good enough to see him resume winning ways. The chief danger looks to be San Silvestro as he is lightly-raced and he should be suited by this slight step-up in trip. Always Brave is dropped in trip but that will not be a problem and he is a pretty consistent type. Scotty's Future could prove best of the others, although he has been a bit disappointing of late. However we will stick with Prince Noel as the pick.
