Verdict

All six of these have visited the winner's enclosure already, but Birthday Suit has the scope to improve further, with Reidies Choice and Lualua taken to give him most to do. Tim Easterby's juvenile did it nicely on her York debut, despite the trainer stating that she may need the run. The Hilary Needler Trophy at Beverley was to be her next target, but connections wisely decided to bypass a crack at the useful Attraction, and the hint should be taken. Reidies Choice took time to get the hang of things on his Kempton introduction but picked up well to open his account and will be better over another furlong. Lualua was tried in Listed company at Sandown last time and was found wanting, but had earlier won nicely enough at Musselburgh and is one of David Barron's nicer two-year-olds. Even so it is asking a lot to give a couple of pounds away to Birthday Suit who should go on to better things.
