Verdict

Arthurs Secret finished way off the pace despite plugging on for third on his reappearance and Flying Tempo has an 11lb hike in the weights to contend with having landed a double on the Polytrack last month. Esteaming and Mister Marcasite have something to prove off their current marks and Aryal makes his handicap and Turf debut after winning a maiden at Southwell last month. Nice Story and Kuantan One should both be winning races this year but WYLDFIRE is already off the mark for the season with a comeback victory at Redcar under his belt. The subsequent victory of third-placed Big Johnny D has boosted the form and Richard Fahey's charge can make a winning handicap debut.
