        Verdict

        Kiribati King shaped with plenty of promise last time and he can win this at the main expense of Novestar and Italian Goddess. Mick Channon's runner was making his seasonal reappearance and having his first run in a handicap last time and he shaped well in second behind Forsyte Saga. He has a good draw today and he is a strong pick. Novestar has been in good form on the all-weather and he won well last time when beating Fantastic Lass, so there is no reason why he should not run his race. Italian Goddess is making her handicap debut today and Michael Bell's filly is certainly worth noting in the market here. Pure Scandal is from a shrewd yard and is another to keep an eye on, but Kiribati King stands out and should be hard to beat.
