In depth

Verdict

Caribbean Coral looks the one to beat in this handicap; the list of dangers is headed by Wyatt Earp and Dig Deep. The selection ran well last time out when chasing home Blue Tomato at Musselburgh and as that was his seasonal reappearance he is entitled to come on for the run. He is on a fair mark and he looks to have solid claims. Wyatt Earp would have claims on the pick of his form from last season but he may need this run after a break and the simple fact is that he is better over a slightly longer trip. Dig Deep is another who is returning from a break and as he needed his first outing last season, he could be one to bear in mind next time out as he won on his second outing last season. Fire Up The Band arrives here in good form and he has a decent draw, so he makes appeal for each-way players. But a more solid bet looks to be Caribbean Coral who looks primed for a big run.
