    Verdict

Mith Hill can gain another course win, with Harthstead Dream, Quickstyx and Super King just three more to mention in a wide-open handicap. Plenty line up with chances here, but Mith Hill is the least exposed and gets the vote to add to his last successful visit to the track. That was over a mile and a quarter, and judged on the way he stayed on from mid-division to come through and score, this extra two furlongs will be very much in his favour. To be fair, he did not beat much last time, but a mark of 68 as a result should see him make a bold bid. Harthstead Dream has been a model of consistency but is also a trifle one-paced, while Quickstyx lacks a gear but with his stable in form, will be fancied to reach the frame. Super King was not beaten far at Newcastle and should improve over this trip as should Wing Collar who was outclassed behind Stephano at Redcar. On a line through that horse, he should at least finish in front of Patrixtoo, while of the rest, Argentum is lightly weighted and it would therefore be no surprise to see him take a hand in proceedings. However, Mith Hill has more to offer and can pay to follow.
