Verdict

Alan Brown won this a year ago with Meandmyshadows and RED SHADOW should make a bold bid for a repeat under Silvestre De Sousa as he's dropping into this grade for the first time. He gets the vote though El McGlynn has been very consistent on Polytrack despite being beaten in a seller at Wolverhampton last time. Wish Again is tried in a first-time visor and has the occasional lines of form that would give him the edge though he ran poorly at Catterick last month. Made In The Shade has a bit to find on official ratings but didn't run badly in a Redcar handicap on her reappearance and has a little more scope than most.
