Avec Rose was in need of the experience when beaten on her debut at Warwick but she'll have to improve markedly to land this. Blue Clumber ran her best race so far over C&D last time but last month's Ripon fourth Mount Seymour appears modest and none of the others with experience have shown much so far so it may be worth taking a chance on one of the newcomers. Bond Club is related to useful sprinters Lord Kintyre and Crofters Ceilidh and could go close if overcoming a high draw but ARMADA BAY, who is a half-brother to a couple of Listed winners and cost £25,000, makes more appeal and gets the nod.
