In depth

Verdict

Prince Freddie's one decent run last term came on ground with give and he's unlikely to take part unless there is plenty of rain. Highlife Dancer has never raced beyond a mile and this is a stiff track to be attempting an extra four furlongs while Pretty Diamond hasn't shown enough to warrant support though she makes her handicap debut from a lowly mark. The latter's trainer, Mark Johnston, has a stronger candidate in BESTWECAN, who looked a potentially useful middle-distance performer with an impressive victory in an admittedly weak Lingfield maiden over this trip last month. Moonlight Rhapsody looks an obvious threat after her comfortable success over 1m2f at Lingfield in February and she holds entries in the big Sales races at Newmarket next week.
