Forecast

Zaitsev (9/4), King Of Macedon (3/1), Loud (3/1), Eeny Mac (7/1), Relight My Fire (7/1), Desert Creek (14/1), Berlusca (25/1)

Verdict

It's easier to find the negatives with most of these. Fieldgunner Kirkup went close at Leicester last time on his preferred soft ground while a 6lb rise for scoring over track and trip could scupper the chances of Zaitsev. Eeny Mac was winning for the fifth time at the track when scoring here last month but needs further nowadays while Relight My Fire is struggling to reproduce the form that saw him win twice over course and distance last year. King Of Macedon is preferred to inconsistent stablemate Loud, but the vote goes to DESERT CREEK, who has finally returned to a winning mark and finished a close-up fourth at Doncaster last time.
