Verdict

Striker Torres was ending a long losing run when winning over C&D last time. That was his first win on turf in 12 starts and he's 5lb higher here but he should still confirm running with third-placed Powerful Pierre. Polish World had Shadowtime behind when runner-up at Redcar a fortnight ago and should figure in this lesser grade, but GINGER GREY makes more appeal. A winner at Doncaster in October, he went close when third at the same track last week and David O'Meara's charge looks set for a return to winning ways here.
