In depth

Verdict

Mick Easterby sets a poser in this ladies event with four runners. The pick of the bunch could be Gala Sunday and this one is selected to lead home Parchment and Tangarita. Serena Brotherton gets on well with this six-year-old and the pair bolted up at Nottingham earlier this month. They followed up next time over course and distance when just getting the better of today's rival Parchment. The weights favour the Easterby horse this afternoon and he can put his last poor effort behind him. Tangarita has been steadily dropping down the handicap, despite running into the places. She could again reward each-way supporters. Emperor's Well is on a very lenient mark and looks the pick of the others, however we will go with his stable companion Gala Sunday.
