Wood Fairy was returning from a long lay-off when third at Hamilton and is an obvious contender if that run has brought her on. Simple Jim has dropped to a very fair mark but couldn't justify favouritism at Redcar last time. Brasingaman Eric has some ability, while Golden Future has been knocking on the door in similar company of late. GENERAL TUFTO has recorded the majority of his wins on the Fibresand but is much better handicapped on turf and finished third over 1m2f here last month. He stays this longer trip and could be a bit of value in an open-looking finale.
