Verdict

Champion Paul Hanagan is the leading rider at Beverley and may be capable of getting the best out of KING OF SWORDS. Nigel Tinkler's gelding won off a higher mark at Pontefract last August and wasn't beaten far over C&D on his latest start, despite a modest draw. Better positioned in this, he can reverse that running with third Wotatomboy and beat some modest rivals. Galpin Junior has been off for a couple of months but could make the frame if fully wound-up and Silvanus has place claims, despite top weight.
