    Verdict

Quartz, who is related to a host of winners including Kingsbarns, makes his belated racecourse debut but has no other entries and is probably best watched for now. INTISAAB looked certain to be suited by a longer trip and easier conditions when staying on behind Texas Rock over 7f at Down Royal. Everything appears to be in place for him to lose his maiden tag here. Tony Martin runs both Cillian's Return and Shemshal and it's the former, who is on a hat-trick after victories in a bumper and a maiden hurdle earlier in the year, who should come out best. Lucent Dream ran well for a long way before fading over an extra furlong at Leopardstown and may do best of the remainder.
