Some disappointing and frustrating types here including Councilofconstance, who let her supporters down with a poor run at Gowran Park after a couple of promising runs earlier. Mutamaleq finished tailed off last when favourite at Galway but that can't have been his true running as he had previously looked a certain future winner. He had the odds-on Green Art just behind when runner-up to Roicead at Roscommon in June but the one to take out of that event was RED SPARKY, who was having only his second start and was going on nicely at the finish of that seven furlong race.
