Verdict

There's little to separate these at the weights but INTERIOR MINISTER looks to have the strongest recent form. He wasn't beaten far when third at Yarmouth on his return to action and there should be plenty more to come from Jo Hughes' colt this year. Northern Star was well beaten on her reappearance albeit in Listed company and she can do better while Arlecchino finished last of four in a decent handicap at Nottingham last time. Excellent Puck should appreciate the return to a shorter trip after his latest defeat at Chester but Back On The Trail's recent third at Lingfield came in plating company and Mick Duggan has a bit to find on his seasonal bow.
