Air Chief is bidding for his hat-trick after wins at Folkestone and last week over course and distance and is taken to win again at the expense of Mista Rossa and King Bathwick. The selection carries a six pound penalty for his latest victory and connections must be confident that he is still potentially well treated and remain ahead of the handicapper. His form looks rock solid and has matured well over the winter. If seeing the best of him again he will be difficult to beat. Mista Rossa is now six pounds higher for winning at Kempton on his first outing of the season. He looks as though he might do better as he matures and if improving he could go well at a price. King Bathwick is another who caught the eye when third to Black Tor Figarro on his seasonal reappearance. He is well exposed on what he has achieved last year but could be well handicapped as a result so is worth noting. But for the winner we return to Air Chief.
