Verdict

Choisirez makes most appeal of the three with experience but one of the newcomers should be good enough to take this. Excavator and Miss Astragal may need at least another furlong to show their best, but VERBEECK has plenty of speed in his pedigree. Ed McMahon boasts an exceptional record with his two-year-old runners here and the son of Dutch Art gets the vote. Selinda's half-brother Alfraamsey finished second over this C&D on his debut so a big run from Mick Channon's filly would come as no surprise.
