Verdict

Placed in both starts since scoring at Wolverhampton, Ifan is holding his form well and looks sure to make another bold bid. Lutine Charlie is a course and distance winner who can also figure and Saint Irene has claims on her earlier second at Brighton. January's Lingfield winner Precision Five is harder to fancy on his return to action and the speculative vote goes to top weight CROQUEMBOUCHE. He's slipped down the weights this year and only gave way in the closing stages over 1m2f at Windsor last time. Dropping down a grade for this, it could be his turn today.
