        Verdict

        After a very promising first run BELGIQUE has the call in this maiden with Edition considered after showing progression in a couple of runs and High Importance should also be a live contender. After running a cracker in defeat behind a well fancied stable-mate on debut the selection should progress and show us more. This step up in trip looks nothing but a positive and with his yard flying he should get off the mark. Edition was a bit of an eye-catcher when third on his last start and with that an improved run for his debut effort we should see more again. High Importance demanded a big price as a yearling but thus far has only really be consistent without obvious improvement. He can go well but he will need to finally improve. Yarra River sets the standard and looks booked to give his running again, however he is looking exposed in this company. Belgique looked above average on debut and can get off the mark.
