Verdict

Only four runners go to post here and we will put forward STARGAZE as the most likely winner; the dangers would appear to be Angel's Pursuit and Avonvalley. Andrew Balding and David Probert teamed up to good effect here last week when they had a double, and Stargaze can keep their hot streak going. He won a maiden in good style last time out when he beat I'Malwaysright with plenty in hand and although he has more on his plate today, he looks one to stay on the right side of. Angel's Pursuit is the obvious alternative as he was far from disgraced in a Group 2 event at Newmarket last time and he had previously run well in Listed company. If there are chinks in the armour of our selection, then he should be the one to profit. Avonvalley finished behind Angel's Pursuit in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Ascot last month and on the bare form book he looks to have a little to find to turn the tables. Emma Jean Lass should be outclassed in this company, and we will stick with the progressive Stargaze as our idea of the winner.
