      Verdict

      In a wide open handicap ASHKALARA looks the best treated after a near miss on her last run while Princess Seren enters the fray with 1lb removed from her back for her close up third and Regal Rave is consistent but might now need to improve. Unexposed and on a progressive run of form the pick was held just half-a-length in third at Haydock on her lat start and off the same mark her chance is clear. Princess Seren was two lengths back in third on her latest attempt at Ffo Las and with the handicapper taking pity on her she should go closer this time. Regal Rave has been quite well held in the prize money the last twice but again turning out at the same place in the handicap he'll have to show more. Pie Poudre has had 1lb removed after his last few runs but that might not be enough so this looks a three horse race and Ashkalara looks best treated of the trio.
