    Verdict

A septet of exposed sprinters with a case to be argued for all seven. Powerful Wind and Monumental Man, confirmed trailblazers, will ensure a frantic pace but may set this up for a late closer, with SECRET MILLIONAIRE nominated as the most likely beneficiary. He only just failed to rein in Powerful Wind at Brighton when the pair clashed last month and is now 1lb better off. The Dace inmate has subsequently gone on to score at Salisbury via his customary late thrust, for which he's been raised 4lb, although the competent Michael Murphy offsets the majority of that increase. He's every chance of following up if the gaps fall at the right time. Extrasolar concedes weight all round but came back to form when scoring at Salisbury and was only beaten a length and a half next time at Sandown in competitive Class 3 company. That represents good form in the context of this contest and he looks a real danger.
