In depth

Verdict

A fascinating maiden with some top yards represented and we will plump for the Marcus Tregoning trained Multakka, Levin and Gelder may provide most danger. The selection showed plenty of ability in three outings last season, ending with an excellent third to the John Gosden trained Los Cabos. The fourth, who was two lengths behind has since won and so the form looks rock solid and if fit for his seasonal bow he will take a great deal of beating. John Dunlop trains the newcomer Levin, a twenty two thousand guineas son of Fantastic Light. The trainer is capable of getting one ready at the first time of asking and if backed take note. Hughie Morrison's Grand Lodge filly Gelder may prove best of the others, but Multakka had a very promising first season and can lose his maiden tag this afternoon.
