In depth

Verdict

BIANCA DE MEDICI has a pedigree that suggests she won't be too troubled by a bit of cut in the ground and with Hughie Morrison's charge posting a career best at Windsor last month, she looks to be just about the perecentage call. Perfect Call is related to winners over slightly further than this trip. She will need to reverse Newmarket form with Scorn though this line obtained almost a year ago. Land And Sea was not helped by Robert Winston dropping the whip at Ffos Las though in truth, it probably did not make a great deal of difference to the outcome. Xeralda was third in a weak race at Wolverhampton and will make her mark in handicaps in time.
