Verdict

Spaceman gets the confident vote here with Ollie George and Rahy's Crown rating the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when beating Gig's Magic and although having a penalty for that win he again has conditions to suit and off what remains a fair mark he should prove tough to beat. Ollie George rates the main danger as he has been in the form of his life of late but he just gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when second behind Rayhani last time out and he is passed over for that reason. Rahy's Crown won well last time out when beating Desert Sea but all his best form of late has been on the all-weather and he is passed over for that reason. Of the remainder, Balloura is from a yard in form but he looks weighted up to his best and with this in mind for the winner we return to the progressive Spaceman.
