Verdict

Saborido is 7lb higher than when winning this last year and the likely soft ground may not be in his favour either. Gilded Age has spent more time hurdling than on the Flat so may there could be more to come from him after scoring on the level at Newbury last time but Salontyre hasn't won on the Flat since 2010 and has gone up 4lb for finishing second over C&D last month. TAIKOO makes more appeal given he won over today's trip on soft ground at Ayr last season and a recent second at Southwell suggests Hughie Morrison's charge is capable of winning off today's mark.
