In depth

Verdict

CURTAINS ran well enough on his debut and is taken to win the opener at the expense of Royal Desert and newcomer Yer Woman. The selection finished an eyecatching third on his debut at Brighton last month and was not beaten far in the process. With that race experience behind him he is sure to improve and if doing so he will take all the beating. Royal Desert improved form his debut at Nottingham to finish a decent third of nine at Leicester last time out. He comes from a yard that are going well at present so any market moves should be noted. Of the newcomers Yer Woman looks the most interesting coming from a yard in top form and the market will be the best guide to his chances, however for the winner we return to Curtains.
