Verdict

Spic 'n Span had the advantage of a rails draw when winning at Ffos Las 10 days ago but starts on the outside here and it would be no surprise to see fifth Ingleby Star get a lot closer on 7lb better terms. Arch Walker hasn't won for a long time but has been knocking on the door lately and has made the long trip from Middleham. He must go on the short-list and Chester'Slittlegem was second at Brighton last month, though that was only a seller. BROWN VOLCANO overcame trouble in-running to score over a slightly longer trip here last week. Thomas Brown's claim halves his penalty and a follow-up is on the cards.
