In depth

Verdict

Whitefall has gone very close on her last couple of starts and should be in the mix again. Eyeline has more to prove over today's distance, however, so the lightly-raced trio of Hail To Princess, Culture Trip and Dalliefour make more appeal. Karl Marx usually stays on when the race is already over and it could be a case of history repeating itself here given Sir Mark Prescott boasts an outstanding strike rate with his three-year-olds at this track. PORTRAIT steps up to middle-distances for her handicap and seasonal debut and it would be no surprise if she proves good enough.
