In depth

Verdict

Keeneland has to concede weight all round by virtue of his victory in a moderate Musselburgh bumper and that may prove just beyond him. The Romford Pele was beaten a long way into second on his debut and though likely to improve from his next run behind Heavenstown at Ffos Las the winner has done little for the form. Dalavar will attract support as he's shown reasonable form over shorter while newcomers Imperial Leader and King Of Keys are bred for this job and the market should be watched for clues. BASFORD BEN didn't get going until much too late on his racecourse debut over 1m5f at Wetherby and with this trip and ground more likely to suit he gets the nod to gain his first success.
