Verdict

Valrene made a bold bid to follow up her win at Towcester when runner-up back at the same track in December and should be thereabouts again. Bumper winner CEVARO was no match for Mischievous Milly at Fakenham on her hurdling debut but normal progress should see her enhance Nicky Henderson's excellent strike rate at this track and she gets the nod. Ma Toolan can be given a chance on her placed efforts, though her latest second at Worcester wasn't much of an improvement, and Va Vite could go well on her first start over timber having won a bumper at Newton Abbot back in August.
