Nelson Du Ronceray wasn't at his best at Worcester last time when a well-beaten odds-on shot but his general profile is strong in this grade and he's also struck up a good rapport with his pilot here, Callum Whillans. He acts on all ground and should go well but if ERDELI can repeat his latest run when only beaten a length and a half by Dubawi Phantom in a fair Hereford handicap, then he should prove good enough. He's best suited by good ground and this trip should suit too. Stable companion Perfect Buttons should be checked in the market, whilst Cordillera cannot be discounted in receipt of well over a stone from the top two in the weights, even before her amateur rider's allowance is taken into account.
