Verdict

Coologue was a very strong favourite at Fontwell last month after a promising start at Uttoxeter but refused to settle and could find nothing extra after the last. He'll be winning soon but may have to settle for second-best again behind MA DU FOU. Warren Greatex's charge was also backed as though defeat was out of the question at Wetherby on his hurdling debut but found 2m too sharp. This is a more suitable test and he can recoup losses. Tara Mac wasn't beaten far when favourite at Musselburgh last time but was well beaten over this longer trip earlier while Capard King looks a chaser in the making. Western Force has a terrific jumping pedigree and would be worth a second look if attracting support in the betting.
