      Verdict

ROWAN TIGER is unlucky not to have already opened his account over hurdles after suffering a couple of narrow margin defeats. He can deservedly get his head in front here with Tony McCoy taking over the reins. Doynosaur should also make a bold bid having scored at Wetherby last month though the runner-up has let the form down since, while Fontwell bumper winner Victor Echo is another to consider on his hurdling debut. Bathwick Brave and Loden both posted better efforts last time and they could prove best of the rest with more to come from them.
