Verdict

This looks like it will be a close run thing between CAVA BIEN and Victor Daly with the first mentioned getting the vote while Jaunty Times also enters calculations. The selection is on a four timer here racing off a mark five pounds heavier than his last success. He stayed on from a long way out it that last success to score suggesting the extra weight won¿t be a problem and with the form looking rock solid from his penultimate victory looking rock solid he can score again. Victor Daly put a disappointing run two starts back behind him to land a weaker handicap last time out. He's up just three pounds for that which seems fair if not on the lenient side. Jaunty Times returns after 372 days off racing under a competitive burden, four pounds worse off than the last time he scored while Our Jasper should be involved after a good run in a similar race last time. More trappy stuff here but with trainer Tim Vaughan a past master at getting his charges to string together a long run of victories his Cava Bien has the call.
