Glyn Ceiriog didn't manage a win on the Flat for George Baker but was placed in five of his 10 starts. On the evidence of his debut second at Uttoxeter, he's going to enjoy more success over hurdles and Jason Maguire's presence on stablemate Benjamin Bittern is probably down to the fact that he can't do the weight on the four-year-old.
