Verdict

Henry Hook has ability but proved very hard to predict over hurdles and he is probably best watched on his fencing bow. Princeful has been difficult to train but has already had three runs over the larger obstacles, finishing second at Lingfield and Ffos Las. He can't be ignored along with Donald McCain's five-year-old Rawaaj but Gus Macrae is already beginning to look exposed in this sphere. DR LIVINGSTONE has a rating of a 124 over hurdles and has been fighting a losing battle with the handicapper for some time. He also has a high rating on the Flat so Charlie Egerton doesn't have much option but to send him over fences - he has the class to land this if jumping adequately.
