NICEONEFRANKIE showed improved form last time and may be able to open his account from some interesting newcomers. Riptide was tailed off on his hurdling bow so will need to improve considerably although the selection didn't fare an awful lot better on his first two starts. There was plenty more to like about his latest run though and he sets the standard, albeit a modest one. Duke Of Normandy and Nicky Nutjob were regressive on the level, the expensive Highway Code didn't show an awful lot in three starts for Mark Johnston whilst Kidson showed some ability at a modest level over staying trips. The most interesting newcomers are the Nick Williams trained Me Voici and the ex-Noseda Rocky's Pride; notable market support would, perhaps, make Me Voici the best option as he's related to an Irish bumper winner and a French winning hurdler whilst his dam comes from a good Flat family.
