In depth

Verdict

FIVEWAYS may be able to give weight and a beating to his rivals although Heron Trix and Twentynineblack should have a say in proceedings. Lawney Hill has enjoyed a terrific summer and there was plenty to like about the performance of Fiveways who lowered the colours of a Nicholls trained hot-pot at Worcester. He may just be above average and could be capable of following up. Heron Trix showed ability on debut but the form hasn't really worked out and he'll need to improve as will Twentynineblack who failed to build on the promise of his debut when turned over at Catterick. Winning pointer Lady De La Vega is worth noting on her Rules debut whilst According To Pete's half-brother, The Magic Bishop, is worth more than a cursory glance but we'll go with the proven form of Fiveways.
