SHADOW DANCER is the one that they all have to beat and he looks capable of confining Kingsben and Carolina Lady to minor roles. Shadow Dancer puts his unbeaten record on the line as he bids to follow up from a bumper win at Uttoxeter and a success over hurdles at Market Rasen. He showed a good turn of foot to take the spoils in the latter contest where Kingsben was five and a half lengths back in third. Malcolm Jefferson's charge could struggle to reverse the form even on the revised terms as he is relatively exposed after nine runs over hurdles with his sole success coming over course and distance on his penultimate start. Black Apache and Flichity may be able to improve on the form that they showed in bumpers whilst this looks less competitive than the races Mr Logistics has been asked to contest. Carolina Lady has shown a modicum of ability but we're not looking beyond Shadow Dancer.
