In depth

Verdict

Hardybuck, So Cloudy and Haditovski look to be the ones to concentrate on in this tricky finale, with the vote going to Nigel Twiston-Davies's Hardybuck. So Cloudy has repeatedly found one horse too good, however she continues to be in good heart and could well be there at the end. Similarly Haditovski has had to settle for place money in his last two starts, however he takes a slight drop in class and has the services of the able claimer Phil Kinsella on board so therefore represents a live threat to the selection. David Pipe's Better Moment appears to be in the grip of the handicapper, whilst a market move for the Irish raider Sensible Lass could prove informative on its handicap debut. The Twiston-Davies stable remains in blistering form and after a brave effort last time out when faring best of those racing close to the pace, Hardybuck, who will appreciate any further easing in the ground, can provide another winner for the equally in-form jockey Mr D England.
