Verdict

Rebel Swing was sent off favourite on his latest start at Wetherby in November but just gives the impression he's been in the handicapper's grip since scoring at Uttoxeter in September. Stonethrower was still in contention when unseating Tom David at Market Rasen last month and his earlier form entitles him to respect here, while Kingsmere doesn't look badly treated on his handicap debut. Morcambe suggested there were races to be won with him when third at Towcester but point-to-winner GUNNA BE A DEVIL can break his duck under Rules now tried over 3m. Jeremy Scott's seven-year-old was taking on better opposition at Wincanton last time, but is well handicapped on his third over 2m5f at Towcester in December when just behind a subsequent winner that now has a rating of 122.
