In depth

Verdict

Laganbank has a penalty for his Killarney bumper success and may find this tough on his hurdling debut. Sublime Talent is penalised for two victories on the Flat but showed promise over timber at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day and a recent spin on the level at Leopardstown will have put him straight. Fairwood Massini is another with a recent run on the Flat after a long absence and he ran very well over the C&D in September while Groody Hill showed a little improvement behind Ross Na Right at Killarney. Mr Shahady wasn't suited by front-running at Limerick last time after a very good run at Wexford but the interesting one here is NOMANSLAND, who has been well beaten in two bumpers for Nicky Henderson when a very short-priced favourite but looks just the type Boots Madden does so well with.
