Verdict

Are Ya Right Chief loves the mud as he showed when scoring over hurdles at Thurles in February and would have finished much closer on his chasing bow at Gowran but for being impeded at the last. He'll probably be better over a bit further, however, so REBEL FITZ has to be the one despite being beaten when long odds-on for his chasing debut at Killarney. Mick Winters' high-class hurdler, winner of last year's Galway Plate, jumped well on his chasing bow but didn't pick up as expected from the second last and wouldn't want the ground any more testing but he'll have learnt from that and will take all the beating. Letter Of Credit has come up against some smart young chasers but mistakes have cost him dearly and he'll need to jump much better while Silver Friend only made a moderate chasing debut at Roscommon last week.
